COVID 19: Save a soul through Nose mask-An initiative of a concerned Nigerian
The prices of nose masks have been skyrocketing, even as the number of #Covid19 cases in Nigeria increases, costing about #350 to #450 per piece.
Thankfully, a local professional designer has found a way out. She researched on the requirement of a nose mask and found it to be: a non-woven filter and a non-strecthy clothing. She identified the particular kind of filter found in the regular nose masks and came up with the nose mask design in the pictures that uses the exact same. This nose mask also has 3 layers of the filter instead of 1 that is found in the regular ones, making it more open to reusability.
Her goal is to make it available to people, especially older and more vulnerable people (e.g. market women, etc) at no cost to them.
She has started distributing to the people around us already. She has distributed over 40 pieces. She would love more people to have it, but would need partners who will bear the monetary cost (#400 for 3), and who will help with distribution.
