Real Estate Expert, Allison Joins Ogun Assembly Race, Declares Intention

Ahead of the 2023 general elections, a real estate expert, Hon Sulaiman Odus Allison, prominently known as SLY, has declared his intention to contest for Ijebu Ode state constituency seat in the Ogun State House of Assembly.

Sly is an entrepreneur with over ten years in business leadership and a successful track record of overseeing multiple projects with 8-figure values across property development, building and construction, agricultural and commodities export operations. He will be vying for the assembly ticket on the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

The businessman made known his ambition at an interactive session with newsmen in Ijebu Ode on Wednesday after his consultation with APC faithful at Ward 7 secretariat, Italapo unit in Ijebu Ode. His admirers, supporters and other stakeholders in the constituency also attended the meeting. 

While addressing APC loyalists at the event, Allison said he had to join the House of Assembly race towards in order to provide a better and qualitative representation for his people.

Sly pointed out that before now, the foundation he launched several years ago, designed to put smiles on the faces of the downtrodden and indigent students, had benefited a number of people.

He added that his wealth of experience as a successful private businessman puts him in an advantage level to win the ticket, while promising not to disappoint the electorate if elected.

Allison, once served as a member, digital communication team for Dapo Abiodun Campaign Organisation for the 2019 election and member, Prince Dapo Abiodun Economic Transition Committee under the leadership of Prof Sidi Osho, Pioneer VC, Afe Babalola University.

The grassroots politician has also served as member of the Protocol Committee for Prince Dapo Abiodun inauguration ceremony, Chairman Media and Publicity Committee for Ijebu Ode local government election in 2021, as well as member, Finance Committee for Ijebu Ode local government election campaign.

Meanwhile, preparatory to the Assembly race, Sly, few days ago, visited and received the blessing of the Governor Advisory Council, Ijebu Ode local government APC Excos and all ward chairmen in the local government area.
