Liverpool’s Virgil Van Dijk Wins PFA Player Of The Year Award

Liverpool's Virgil van Dijk has been awarded the PFA Players' Player of the Year for 2019 beating Manchester City's Raheem Sterling.


The official declaration is expected on Thursday yet the Liverpool defender has won the support of his kindred experts for his exceptional commitment in the best defense in the Premier League this season. 

Virgil van Dijk was on a six-man shortlist that incorporated his Anfield colleague Sadio Mane just as Sterling, individual Manchester City players Sergio Aguero and Bernardo Silva and Chelsea's Eden Hazard. 

Van Dijk has had an enormous impact in shoring up the Reds' barrier in his first full season at Anfield. 

Liverpool has lost only one amusement this season with the Dutchman at the back, and have surrendered a minimal measure of objectives in the group – 20.
