Harrison Gwamnishu, a candidate of the Labour Party, LP, in the 2023 general elections, has declared that he is currently in financial mess. Gwamnishu, who contested to become a member of the Delta State House of Assembly, said he was in serious debt and no longer mentally stable. Gwamnishu, a self-acclaimed human rights activist, was defeated in the March 18 election. According to him, some of his property, including one of his cars, has been sold as he attempts to pay the debt. Amotekun Commander, Adewinmbi honoured for upliftment of secutity in Osun

Brig. Gen. Bashir Adewinmbi, State Commander of Osun Amotekun Corps,  on Sunday was honoured for his outstanding contribution towards the upliftment of security of lives and property in the state. The management of UNIQ FM Ilesa, presented the corps commander with the honour during the starion's 13th year anniversary at Aromolaran Hall in Ilesa, Osun State. Ogun State Commissioner Designate, Hon. Fagbayi Oluwasesan has congratulated the State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun on his victory at the election petition tribunal on Saturday. Hon. Fagbayi in a congratulatory message made available to journalists in Abeokuta, the state capital, said the unanimous decision of the three-man tribunal headed by Justice Hamidu Kunaza has cleared any doubt on the victory of Governor Abiodun in the last governorship election.
