Ibadan to the World! ADT Foundation Takes Empowerment to Secondary Schools

It was a moment of encouragement at Bishop Philips Academy Iwo road when one of the leading NGOs in Ibadan visited the school for the Skill Acquisition Program ADT Foundation in conjunction with the H&A Foundation and Gab Initiatives.

The program was a 2-Day program (February 27th and March 5th) and it was a life-changing event for the student as they learn about various skills such as Cosmetology, Small chops, Hairdressing and Photography.

Ashiru Oluwapelumi Adedotun (Founder, ADT Foundation) said, coming to the school to teach them all these skills is a result of building undiluted generations as their motto implies and seeing them doing great things will make him and his team happy.

In attendance was the Special Assistant to the Governor on Youth and Sport (Hon. Kazeem Bolarinwa) who shared his own success stories with the students and also encourage them to face their fears and win.

He said they can make it in life and be successful if they take up the challenges and face there future. He made them realize they are not the leaders of tomorrow but a leader of Today.

The program was successful and the students also said a whole lot about what they've learned and how they are going to be using it to make money at there respective ends.

ADT Foundation is an NGO that deals with encouraging, mentoring, empowering and feeding the younger Generations in order to have more purposeful lives, make good things out of nothing and have a brighter future.

It has started some couple of years ago and it has gone virtually to all south west states for there Tour Unleashed to all secondary schools.
