Ilaro Poly: Desist From Any Attack on Rector, ASUP Warns Suspended FPI Union President



The Academic Staff Union of Polytechnic in Ilaro has warned the suspended union president,comrade Adegboye  Emmanuel Olatunji and his allies to desist from their attacks on the Rector as well as member of the academic staff of the polytechnic as any further attempt may be viewed utmost seriousness.

This was disclosed in a press statement issued and jointly signed by the Union Chairman, Com. Emmanuel Ademola and the Secretary, Foluso Faparasi.

According to the release, the union demands immediate apology from the suspended union president   for his verbation attacks on both Rector who is a member of ASUP as well as other academic staff who he alleged to have been pocketed.

The release which read in parts indicated that "The attention of the union has been drawn to various allegations leveled against member of our union by the SUG suspended president of the student union comrade Adegboye  Emmanuel Olatunji in the media. To this, the union wishes to stated thus:


1. That his allegation of teaching academic staff data analysis is not only false but baseless and insultive to the integrity of academic standard of our institution, we thereforein totality, condenm such a nasty statement which is aimed at derogating the quality of the lecturers in our institution. 

2. The union also found it so worrisome that a student of the institution could be mischievous by addressing members of staff to have been pocketed by the Rector and the management of the institution, this indeed is a white lie of of 1 on equals as there is a cordial relationship between the management and the staffers of the institution which has culminated in maintenance of institution academic calendar. 

3. That the union frowned t the persistent attack on the personality of the Rector Arc. Q. O Aluko PhD by the suspended Student union resident even when the case at hand is at the court of law. 

The union therefore wishes to warn the suspended union president and his allies to desist from their attacks on the Rector as well as member of the academic staff of the polytechnic as any further attempt may be viewed utmost seriousness.
