Obey Covid19 Order By Celebrating The Eid-el-kabir at Home, Ogun Chairmanship Aspirant Urges Muslim


A Chairmanship aspirant for  Abeokuta south local government, Hon. Olumide Dare  has felicitated with the Muslim faithful on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-kabir.

Olumide's  felicitation was conveyed in a statement issued and signed by him on Thursday in Abeokuta, the state capital.

He urged the Muslim faithful to use the opportunity  of the  period to pray fervently to end covid-19 pandemic in the state.

Olumide appreciated the muslims for supporting the state government in fighting covid-19 pandemic.

The chairmanship hopeful  also urged them to obey state government's directive by celebrating the Eid-el-kabir at home.

He added that this year’s celebration was coming at a time when the world was plagued by coronavirus pandemic, saying that the deadly disease has come and will surely go.

The chairmanship aspirant also called on the residents of Ogun state to continue supporting the state government towards fighting covid-19 pandemic in the state.

''I want to appreciate the muslims for being patient with our amiable governor. We should all believe that the law to celebrate at home is for our own benefit to be prevented from the pandemic. I want to urge us to comply with the state government as we celebrate Sallah day tomorrow.'' He concluded.
