Orile-Oko Sets To Enjoy Electricity After 17th Years Blackout


In a bid to provide the residents with stable electricity, the Ogun state Governor  Prince Dapo Abiodun has sent some Engineers to Orile-Oko community in Remo North  area of the state as parts of efforts to find last solution to seventeen years blackout in the community.


The Adele of Orile- Oko , Olakunle Olalekan Joseph disclosed this  in a phone interview on Saturday.

He hinted that Governor Abiodun has also  renovated five Primary  schools out of six in the same community 

According to him, ''I want to update you on the new development in our community now, our amiable governor, prince Dapo Abiodun has sent a team of Engineers to come and find a lasting solutions to 17years of darkness in Orile-Oko. He  has also renovated five Primary schools out of six in the community.


''The renovation was done within two weeks. The primary Schools include Atoba, Itoku, Isan, Oko and  Sofidipe local governments''

He  also appreciated the governor for his good deed, saying that the gesture will help the residents of the community a lot.

Mr Joseph described Abiodun as  good listener and compassionate.

''Whenever we call on our amiable Governor, he always listens to us. He is a good listener and we pray God continue to be with him''.
