292 stranded Nigerians in UAE arrive

 Another batch of 292 Nigerians stranded in United Arab Emirates (UAE) arrived on Wednesday.

The Emirate flight conveying the evacuees, according to a tweet by the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), landed at the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport around 2.30pm.

The tweet reads: “Emirate flight with 292 Evacuees arrived Nnamdi Azikiwe Int’l Airport, Abuja at about 1430HRS from the United Arab Emirates, today Wednesday, 12th of August, 2020 bringing the total number of evacuees from the UAE to 2,933.

“All evacuees tested Negative to Covid-19 and will now proceed on a 14-day self-isolation as mandated by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, Ministry of Health and Presidential Task Force on Covid-19.”
