Olu Orile Kemta, Oba Tejuosho Sets To Trains 50 Youths On Poultry Farming




In its bid to create employment opportunities for the teeming youths, the Olu Orile Kemta, His Royal Majesty, Oba (Amb) Adetokunbo Gbadegeshin Okikiola Tejuosho says he plans to train no fewer than 50 people on how to raise broilers within six weeks from day one to sales point.

Oba Tejuosho explained that the training will commence in this month of November and it's going to be free of charge irrespective of age, level of education or local government you belong in Ogun state. 
The traditional ruler disclosed this in an interview with Journalists at his palace in Orile Kemta Dabonyin in Odeda local government of the state.

According to him "The training is about poultry and we are targeting about 50 people free of charge."

His words "I am not a politician but I am a leader in the society and it's part of my obligation to assist people and the only way I can do this is to assist them on what I am into of which is livestock farming.

"So we are going to be doing 6 weeks training for 50 people on how to raise broilers from day one until the sales point for about six weeks or seven weeks."

"They will be having the opportunity to meet some consultants so that they can also tap from their wealth of wisdom during the training."

"When we look around the society there are no jobs and government can't do it alone 
It is my  believe, we are the government, so we need to do our own quotas to reduce the rates of unemployment in our various communities, he concluded.
