JCI Donates 100 Bedsheets To Ogun Govt Hospitals

As parts of it's contribution to the health improvement of the state, Junior Chamber International (JCI) Rockcity has distributed no fewer than 100 bedsheets to various government owned Hospitals and health facilities in Ogun state.

The gesture was said to be in line with the JCI Rockcity 2020 leadership year tagged "Be Extraordinary"

The President of JCI-Rockcity, JCIN Amb. Ayodeji Oliver Ajayi who led his members to execute the first phase of the project held at Accident and Emergency Unit of the Federal Medical Centre (FMC) Abeokuta, the state capital.

Receiving the bedsheets, were the medical team ably led by Dr Adebiyi, the newly elected President of the Association of Resident Doctors at FMC and Dr Ajibola Michael who is also the newly elected Secretary of the association. 

Dr Adebiyi in his remarks expressed his appreciation and gratitude on behalf of the hospital,  thanking the members of JCI Rockcity for the laudable project.

During the distribution at the Oba Ademola Maternity Hospital, Ijemo, Abeokuta, the team members were welcomed by the medical team on ground led by the Chairman, Medical Advisory committee, Dr. (Mrs.) Olakunmi Nassir.

Dr Nassir commended the kind gesture by the organisation saying that the hospital was really in dire need of the bedsheets.

The Chairman of the project, JCIN Amb. Motolani Oyedeji hinted that the project was in line with the SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being as part of the impact being made by the organization.
