Easy calls for Peace, As Ogun Marks 45th Year Anniversary

A councillorship aspirant , ward 9 in Abeokuta North Local Government Comrade Lawal Olawale popularly known as "Thinkeasy"  has called on the State government and all citizens to “promote and guarantee peace”.

Olawale disclosed this in a statement signed by him which was made available to newsmen on Tuesday in abeokuta,  the state capital. 

His words " As we celebrate the 45th anniversary of our dear State,  I call for peace and unity across our dear country, Nigeria and Ogun State. 

"Different forms of violence including electoral, banditry, herders and farmers conflicts, kidnapping and terrorism have and continue to snatch the lives of Nigeria’s citizens.

"I appeal to the government and all citizens to do everything we can,  to promote and guarantee peace in our dear state and our country as a whole.

I appreciate His Excellency Prince Dapo Abiodun for always remaining focused in upholding the democratic principles, which have enable the citizens of the State  to operate in an environment that allows for full expression of their political will and the protection of their inalienable rights to freely participate in the electoral process without any form of hindrance or intimidation.

"I pray May God continue to guide him,  protect him throughout his tenure as the Governor of Ogun State" he affirmed.
