Jubilation As Hon. Jones Organise Free Eye Test, Cataract Operation In Ogun

Not less than 300 people in Ogun State would benefit from the free eye test and 500 cataract operation organised by a chieftain of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Hon. Olumide Jones.

The outreach according to Hon. Jones was part of his efforts to reduce incidence of avoidable blindness in the society.

 

The program which will hold between 26th and  27th of this month at Centenary Hall Ake, Abeokuta, Ogun State.

Hon. Jones disclosed that the initiative was  borne out of the need to improve the health conditions of the people and based on the understanding that many people do not take good care of their eyes despite  the importance of the eyes to life of every individual.

He added that the outreach will also  support and put smiles on the faces of others by helping them not only with screening, but also with treatment and medications in furtherance of its efforts to fill the vacuum in the health sector towards producing an environment filled with healthy people.
