LG Victory: Majekodunmi, Shotayo, Councilors Hold Thanksgiving Service In Church



The chairman Abeokuta South local government, Hon. Omolaja Majekodunmi alongside his Vice, Surveyor Shotayo and all councilors in the Local Government were at the St. Paul's Cathedral Church, Oke-Igbore, Abeokuta today to offer Thanksgiving to God almighty for his victory at the Local Government elections.


Majekodunmi dedicated his victory to blessings of God, appreciating God for the peaceful election.


He stated that as a believer in God Almighty, he was in church to appreciate God Almighty who has made him victorious and given him the opportunity to serve the people of Abeokuta South Local Government.

Majekodunmi affirmed that his administration was such that recognizes all religions, ensuring fair and equal treatment to all.

The chairman called on the priests to continue to pray for him and his government.

He expressed his undeterred commitment to work in tandem with Governor Abiodun's Agenda to take the local government to a greater height, promising that he will make the state governor, the commissioner for Local Government and other political leaders in the local government proud.

The Clergyman Father in his sermon lauded the chairman's reference for God Almighty urging him to remain committed to the good of the people of the local government.

He also prayed for wisdom for the chairman to effectively steer the wheel of the Local Government towards a desired end.
