4yrs In Office: FUNAAB Discloses Celebration Plans For Prof Salako

FUNAAB DAM Almost Completed


Preparations are in top gear for the celebration of the Fourth (4th) Year in office of the Vice- Chancellor of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), Professor Felix Kolawole Salako.

The celebration, which will be low-key and in compliance with Covid-19 protocols has as theme, "United We Stand, Divided We Fall". 

It will highlight the vast achievements and successes recorded under the leadership of the Sixth Substantive Vice-Chancellor of the University.

According to the University's Registrar, Dr. Bola Adekola, programme of events for the celebration will begin with a Live Interview on Splash Radio 106.7 FM Abeokuta, on Saturday, October 30, 2021 by 9.00 am. 

This is to be followed by a Live Interview on FUNAAB Radio 89.5FM on Monday, November 1, 2021 between 10.15a.m and 11.55a.m.

Commissioning of facilities and projects follows immediately after the interview on Monday with the commissioning of FUNAAB X-Ray Centre at the Directorate of Health Services between 12 noon - 1.00 p.m and Commissioning of FUNAAB Staff Club at the University Zoo Park between 1.00 pm and 2.00 pm.

 Activities marking FUNAAB Vice-Chancellor fourth year in office will climax with the Premiere of a Film produced by a renowned Cinematographer and Visiting Fellow to FUNAAB, Mr.Tunde Mr. Kelani, the CEO of Mainframe Production at the Oluwafemi Balogun Ceremonial Building between 3.00 p.m - 4.30 p.m (Members of the University Community are to be seated by 2.45 p.m).
