APM's BOT silent, as suspects indicting national chairman in Kidnap case reportedly killed in custody

The members of the Board of Trustees of the Allied People's Movement have reportedly remained silent over the allegation of involvement of the national chairman of the party, Alhaji Yusuf Dabo Dantelle in the kidnapping of a lecturer at the Kogi State University, Ayingba.

It was observed that the BOT of APM since the national chairman was arrested has not issued a statement or react to the issue.

It would be recalled that Yusuf Mamman Dantalle, who double as the General Secretary of the Inter Party Advisory Council was reportedly arrested by the Joint Security Task Force in Kogi State over an alleged involvement in kidnapping.

Dantalle was arrested last week Monday after the Joint Security Task Force invaded his house in Ayingba area of Kogi State.

Dantalle's arrest was in connection to the latest kidnapping of Prof. James Alabi, a lecturer at Kogi State University, Ayingba.

The Joint Security Task Force reportedly stormed Dantalle's residence after one of the arrested kidnappers of the lecturer indicted him as their sponsor.

But, new findings have revealed that the party has remained silent over the issue since it was reported.

There are however insinuations that the three Suspects who confessed the involvement of Alhaji Dabo Dantelle in the kidnapping case might have been killed to prevent justice.

Meanwhile, the APM' s National Secretary, Mr Ayodele Adebayo is already mobilizing the party’s State’s Chairmen to endorse him as the Acting National Chairman of the party in the interim.
