IPAC Southwest Chairman, Arabambi Petitions EFCC Over Alleged Diversion Of Public Fund By Oluseni, 5 Others in FMC


The Chairman Inter Party Advisory Council (IPAC), South-West, Abayomi Arabambi has petitioned the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) asking the agency to investigate alleged diversion of public fund by Mr Adeyemi OLUSENI Vaughan and 5 others staff of Federal Medical Centre(FMC),Abeokuta.

Our correspondence reports that, the petition written on October , 2021 and received by the Economic and Crimes Commission(EFCC), the Attorney General and Minister for justice ,Minister of State for health Dr Olorunibe Mamowora, The Permanent Secretary ministry of health and the Director Hospital Services on October 18,2021,with attachment of evidences by the petitioner listed nine alleged crimes against the said officials.

The other allegations as contained in the petition include: stealing, conspiracy, obtaining money under false pretence, gross violation of public service rules, joint unprecedented fraud and monumental economic and financial crimes.

Our correspondence further reports that, Arabambi who doubles as Chairman Labour Party (LP) in Ogun State said he wrote the petition in public interest and in line with zero corruption tolerance mantra of President Muhammed Buhari.


The petition said, from investigation, the alleged staffers in collaboration with fifth columnists are set to bring the hospital to disrepute, and rubbish the zero tolerance of the present administration of the country leadership.

Our correspondence further reports that, Arabambi said that the director of Administration Mr Adeyemi Oluseni Vaughan was sometime ago indicted by a panel over un-authorised collection, stealing and sales PMS/Diesel, and was recommended not to hold any sensitive position in the hospital again.

The petitioner added that, the alleged syndicate continued to draw salaries of some of the staff running into several millions of naira who are on study leave without pay, and also gave identities and personal file number of the staff who had left service but claimed of continuity in drawing salaries also running into millions of naira.

The petitioner continues "This group of old staff in the hospital are so much inclined and dedicated to financial crimes against the hospital. 

Amongst the crimes committed by the Director of Administration Mr Adeyemi Oluseni Vaughan and others include the obtaining money over One hundred and Ninety millions ( N190m ) under false pretex through a company WHITEHORSE CAPITAL LIMITED that was used to dupe over 60 Senior staffs of the Hospital under the guise of supplying them with various brands of vehicles that were never supplied . 

This fraudulent act were perpetrated in conjuction with the The president, Senior staffs association of Universities ,Teaching Hospital,Research Institute & Associated Institutions 

The EFCC chairman is hereby strongly enjoined to investigate the cases, as loads of documentary exist against them’ the petitioner emphasised

‘;It is hoped that the office of the EFCC Chairman will needfully and expeditiously commence a very thorough investigation into the tons of monumental fraud perpetrated by aforementioned. Loads and tons of clear, real and hard evidences are available’, Arabambi wrote
