Prince Adegbola Assumes Patron of Yoruba Council of Youth Worldwide


Prince John Adegbola, a Governorship aspirant under the platform of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Ogun State has been appointed as a Patron of Yoruba Council of Youth Worldwide (YCYW).

The honour was conferred on Adegbola popularly known as ADEJOHN at the maiden inauguration and award ceremony under the Chairmanship of Hon. Kazeem Aina held at the St Michael's Church Hall, Ota, Ogun State.

Among other prominent personalities and traditional rulers that was honoured included; Oba Abdul Kabir Adeyemi, Lanlege Lanlekun keji the Olota of Ota Awori kingdom was decorated as the life Royal Patron, Oluwo Faniyi Fasola the Araba of Ota Awori land was decorated as the patron, the Olofin of Ado-Odo who was represented by Chief Taofeek Jimoh, the Olori Odo of Ado-Odo. Prince Fadina was also decorated as the grand patron among others.

While presenting the honour to Adegbola, the coordinator of the group, Chief Abayomi Omoroga explained that he was chosen as a patron of the group based on his interest in the youths being a youthful politician and the group is motivated with his good record.

Omoroga said the council has found him (Adegbola) worthy for his remarkable, outstanding and laudable achievements in youth's development, extraordinary philanthropist and compassionate heart in his tremendous service to humanity. 


In his response, Adegbola who was represented by Hon. AbdulKareem Obalola thanked the members of the council for recognizing him as the Patron of the council praying that he will continue to project the omoluabi that they always know him for.
