Rere Foundation Extends Kind Gesture To St Mary's Anglican Primary School Ijebu Imusin, Renovates 5 Toilets, Donate School Materials, Others



Nigeria is rated as the country with the highest rate of open defecation in the world after India, to surmount this ugly development, Rere Foundation For Progress and Development has donated at least 5 renovated toilets to St Mary's Anglican Primary School Ijebu Imusin area of Ogun State.

The Founder of the foundation, Bar. Segun Adesanya who spoke while handling over the project to the pupils and the school authorities said the support was equally part of the plans the foundation have for this year calendar.

Bar Adesanya who recently declared intention to contest 2023 House of Assembly in Ijebu East State Constituency said his foundation decided to reach out to the school after a visit and realised the need to provide an improved form of sanitation facilities in the school.

The Rere Foundation founder explained that there's need to improve hygiene and reduce open defecation, noting that his foundation has also donated writing materials, socks, sandals and it has provided school uniforms for hundred pupils who are in need of it adding that the foundation is also working on about hundreds of school uniforms to be given

While enjoining the pupils on needs to know that their future is bright regardless of the present limits, Bar Adesanya hinted that 4 pupils have recently benefitted from scholarships, saying that the pupils are who either have no parents or whose parents are so irresponsible or the less privileged among them.

Receiving the gift, the school authority thanked the donor and appreciated them for extending the kind gesture to the pupils.

In a related development, RERE foundation has graduated 12 computer trainees after completing 6months intensive and practical training in Ijebu East local government.
The foundation has also completed Medical Outreach where free medical testing, medication and treatment were given to people in the local government.

Bar Adesanya hinted that "It is indeed fulfilling to be committed to the course of humanity. "For me this is a calling that I find so much joy, happiness and satisfaction in so doing"
