Comrade Ekundina Segun Elvis who is a leading aspirant for the post of NANS Southwest Zone D Coordinator spoke on behalf of the team and empathized on the role of all stakeholders in the all-round development of the educational sector. Stakeholders ranging from Government, School Management and Lecturers, Students etc have different roles to play uniformly and collectively for the betterment of the educational sector.

Comrade Elvis implored the government at all levels most especially the six states of the Southwest and the Federal Government of Nigeria to emulate the legacy of the late sage Chief Obafemi Awolowo by providing free education for Students at all levels. As it's obvious that the economy of the country is presently not flourishing well for an average Nigerian, it's essential the government provides scholarship and bustries for students. This would increase the chances of an average Nigerian to have access to Quality education.

Also the government should pay premium attention to the security of lives and properties of our students, "The issue of insecurity on our campuses is becoming more and more rampant, there have series of security case's ranging from armed robbery, kidnapping, rape among numerous others. We plead with the government and security operatives to see to this issues as a matter of urgency" - Comrade Elvis said.

This can be achieved by providing conducive learning environment, time to time training of lecturers, provision of technological facilities in the school etc. Once the quality of academic service delivery is excellent, there would be a resultant and positive effect on the rate of employment and also the rate of development in the country.

It is also very important to note that as Students, we're the most important stakeholder in the educational sector and it is very essential we play our role by giving the required premium attention to our academics which is our basic responsibility on campus. Also it is recommended that as Students, we should engage in various entrepreneurial and leadership activities while on campus.
