New HoS Appointment: You have Put Right Peg In The Right Hole, Human Rights Tells Gov. Abiodun

A Human Rights body, Campaign for Democracy (CD), has commended the Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, for bringing back governance to the people through transparency and policy of inclusiveness. 

In a letter to the Governor over the recent appointment of Dr. Nafiu Olatunde Aigoro as the new Head of Service, the body through the State Secretary, Comrade Yaya Olajide, described the appointment as putting a round peg in a round hole.

According to Olajide, "I would like to on behalf of the entire citizenry of Ogun state, particularly the workforce and of note too, the medical practitioners across the nation for this yet another set record of "Ogun Standard" on the appointment of an illustrious son of the state and the first medical doctor, Dr Aigoro to be so appointed as a State Head of Service by our dear indefatigable Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, MFR. 

"The appointment is an attestation of effective and transparent system of government of inclusion by this administration. It is indeed a very insightful, inspiring, well thought and highly encouraging choice of putting round peg in a round hole.

The body noted that the present administration since inception, has always considered merit, hardwork and dedication in the appointments and promotion in the civil service, expressing the hope that the appointment of Dr. Aigoro would reinvigorate the workforce for optimal performance.

 "Mr Governor, with this style of governance and meritorious appointment, you have successfully brought the state back to her place of glory, thus, bringing government back to the people".

 While wishing the new Head of Service success as the number one civil servant in the State, Comrade Olajide assured that his Organisation would continue to support the Governor to realize his "Building the State Together" agenda.
