Olumide Jones commiserates with Ogun NUJ over Chairman’s Death

A chieftain of the People Democratic Party (PDP) Hon. Olumide Jones has commiserated with the Ogun State chapter of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) over the sudden death of its Chairman, Soji Amosu.

Amosu was reportedly died on Sunday after a brief illness at age 53.

Olumide Jones described him as a committed and dedicated journalist.”

He expressed condolences to the family of the deseased and also the Nigerian media, particularly practitioners in Ogun State, friends, associates, and sympathizers on the demise of Comrade Soji Amosu, who has been so instrumental to media professional stakeholders and community development in Ogun State.

His words"Comrade Amosu was an experience veteran journalist as he deployed his ingenuity towards promoting peace, unity and progress in the state.

 He prayed that the Lord grants the wife, children and colleagues Amosu left behind “the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.”
