As part of activities to mark 100 days in office of Hon. Kike Delono, the Executive Chairman of Ifo Local Government, Prince Bamidele Tinuosho has supported her administration by conducting free eye test for people in the local government to reduce incidence of avoidable blindness in the society.

The outreach took place today at Ifo LG Secretariat, witnessing a large turnout of residents who have issues with their sight but were not only screened, but also given treatment and free glasses in order to produce an environment filled with healthy ones.

According to the organiser of the project, Prince Tinuosho explained that the rationale behind it was to celebrate the 100 days in office of Hon. Delono as the executive chairman of the local government.

Prince Tinuosho hinted that the project was the second phase saying that the first phase was done 3 years ago and it's third phase is underway.

His words "The second phase had three optamologists present to conduct eye test for people present, recommend and present to them specified eyeglasses to correct their sights. "

The program had mostly the elderly who showed appreciation through prayers and encomiums on The Council Boss, Hon. Kike Delano and Hon. Bamidele Tinuoso.

"POFT is a foundation organised by a group of Likeminds in Ifo for the progress of Ifo Local Government through developmental projects for the benefit of Ifo people and it's environs."

One of the beneficiaries who shown appreciation, Madam Esther Olabimpe, stated that stated that it would have cost her children to spend a lot of money on her in during test and buying glasses, adding that she appreciated the foundation that made it possible.

According to Olabimpe "My children were just planning to take me for eye test because i couldn't read my Bible any longer due to bad eyesight, it was my neighbour that inform me of this program yesterday that it will come up today.

"This prompted me to be present at the Council Secretariat without knowing anyone or having influence and without paying any money and I was given eyeglasses free of charge.

The group's Coordinator, Asiwaju Waleola who spoke through Prince Tinuosho therefore assured residents that the third phase of the program will be coming up soon but may take place in Ifo
Constituency ll to allow people of Agbado, Akute, Ojodu, Okearo and environs enjoy the benefit as well.
