Christmas: Akinoso Felicitates with Christians

In celebration of Christmas, Olusesi Akinoso has sent a felicitation message to the people of Ogun State, especially Abeokuta South over the celebration of the birth of Christ.

In his Christmas message, Akinoso admonished all Christians to imbibe the spirit of love, peace and perseverance and to also exhibit the virtues of faithfulness, honesty and kindness, which Jesus Christ manifested.

He said “As we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ today, there is no conceivable alternative for Christians other than to renew their minds towards living the life Jesus Christ lived, while on earth.

"The season of Christmas is one that exemplifies the virtues of love and peaceful co-existence. We must continue to extend the hand of love, benevolence and live as one family irrespective of our differences. 

“We must also continue to respect each other’s right to live freely and peacefully. 

"The period of Christmas commemorates the birth of Jesus Christ, who is the symbol of Christianity and the harbinger of peace, love and good tidings.”

While wishing the people of the State a very Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year in advance, Akinoso urged them to continue to live in peaceful and harmonious co-existence as well as utmost tolerance in order to continue to make the State home for all Nigerians and ensure sustained development and prosperity for all
