Hadassah Cares Put Smiles On Juvenile Home Children, Presents Gifts Worth #200,000

As part of its philanthropic gestures to the less privileged in the society, Hadassah Cares with her members has put smiles in the faces of Asero Juvenile and correctional home children in Abeokuta the Ogun State capital by presenting a gifts worth over #200, 000.

Some of the items presented during the visit included Pillows, Books,

Pen, biscuits, Drinks, Chocolate, Story books and several other items.

Hadassah Cares founder, Miss Mariam Adekunle explained that the initiative was borne out of her passion to alleviate the suffering of the vulnerable people especially the children in the juvenile home and putting smile on their faces.

Miss Adekunle hinted that Hadassah Cares is an NGO in collaboration with her partner friends who supported her dream in bringing the initiative to reality.

While answering the rationale behind bringing the initiative to juvenile home, she revealed that most of the juveniles come from underprivileged backgrounds, mostly from slums. They grow up seeing their alcoholic fathers beating up their mothers, adding that most children come from violence family.

She further explained that taking care of these teenagers when they come to the juvenile home is very important.

According to her "Aside from the different gifts we distributed, we did 

Bible study, Quiz competition, Dancing competition, Adire Skill Acquisition, Games and Song ministrations, all these are done to put smiles on their faces.

She reiterated her commitment and that of her friends who were co-sponsors of the outreach, to continue to impact the lives of the less privilege people in the society.

One of the Juvenile home children, Victor on behalf of other children, prayed that God would reward their visitors and preserve them for future assignments to humanity.

While receiving the items  

Mrs Bukola Elizabeth Dopamu, the Head of home appreciated the donor for deeming it fit to extend hands of generosity to the children.
