You're Not God, Stop Selling Your Personal Agenda On Ogun West, NNPP Blasts Yayi's Aide, Odunaro

The New Nigeria People's Party (NNPP) has condemned APC chieftain, Kayode Odunaro for saying Ogun West 2023 Agenda should be on hold till 2027. 

NNPP Ogun state chapter in a statement signed by its Chairman, Comrade Oginni Olaposi describes the statement as "unremarkable and reckless". 

Oginni argued that the Ogun West Governorship Agenda continues and Odunaro is merely "selling paymaster's Agenda". 

It would be recalled that the APC chieftain had said that the Agenda is a miscalculation and should be suspended till 2027 when the discourse will resurface. 

Oginni however noted that power sharing cannot be determined by a "mortal" like Odunaro because he(Odunaro) is not God. 

He said: "It's highly unfortunate that an ordinary mortal is  arrogating to himself the Power of Almighty God on the decision of who takes what in the world of Power allocations and balances."

The NNPP chairman further said the motion to stop the Ogun West agenda has failed as the party is ready to move it ahead come 2023, saying it is "sacrosant". 

"Consequently, the New Nigeria People's Party, Ogun State Chapter, is Happy to educate a myopic mind like that of Chief Odunaro that Ogunwest 2023 Governorship Agenda is Sacrosanct and that Ten Million Kayode Odunaro and the Lagos based Senator he is canvassing for cannot stop the Divine Mercy of God on Ogunwest Governorship Agenda in 2023. 

"We are resolute on our position to stand for equity and justice that shall usher in a New Governor of Ogun State on the Platform of Our great Party in 2023." 

Oginni further advised Odunaro to consult more intelligible people around him so as to see the certainty of the agenda. 

"We are hereby advising Chief Kayode Odunaro to ask people around him who can see better to tell him that the Ogunwest Governorship Agenda for 2023 is getting clearer and better on the Platform of NNPP with the protracted crisis engulfing Ogun APC and the Abysmal Performance of Gov. Dapo Abiodun as the election is drawing nearer." 

Oginni alleged that the intention to connive with a Lagos based political merchant will be a futile effort. 

"We are using this medium to warn Chief Kayode Odunaro and other enemies of Ogunwest to stop the evil machinations against the realization of Ogunwest Governorship Agenda in 2023 because of the selfish bootlicking ambition of a Lagos based Political merchant,"he said.
