A Warning Signal To APC, PDP As NNPP Holds Congresses In 236 Wards In Ogun

The New Nigeria People's Party, Ogun state chapter, in readiness for the 2023 elections, said it has held congresses in 236 wards and 20 local government areas in the state.



The state chairman of Ogun NNPP, Comrade Olaposi Oginni noted its congresses were successful, adding that its national congress will take place soon.



Oginni added that the party is set to bring willing Nigerians on board to contest the forthcoming elections. 



"New Nigeria People's Party is the beauty of democracy and in the wisdom of the chairman of board of trustee, Dr Boniface Okechukwu, I have been able to strengthen in welcoming all the political jugals who are ready to join the party as we are preparing for the 2023 election.



"In the light of that, throughout the nation, the NNPP has embarked on congresses and we have done the one of that of the world congress and today, we are successfully done with that of the local congress especially that of Ogun state.



"Everything went on smoothly in all the 236 wards and I all the 20 local governments. All the congresses have been done and we have the structures on ground welcoming lots of new members especially the TLM, that is the national movement, Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso and everybody is happy as one family. 



"As Nigeria is moving forward to have a new lease of life with new leadership and with that, we are progressing to have a state congress coming up very shortly on Monday by the special grace of God.



"On Monday, we will be having all the state executives being put in place that will bring a new Ogun state, where Ogun state will be free from the whimps and caprices of the incompetent government of governor Dapo Abiodun."



The state chairman further said NNPP would take over the governance of Ogun state and the Presidency of Nigeria.



"We are trying to make the party better and stronger and we also believe that with this successful congresses, NNPP is going to win Ogun state by the special grace of God and we are going to win the Nigeria Presidency", he said.
