2023: House of Reps Aspirant, Oludotun Promises constituents Effective Representation

A frontline aspirant, contesting for House of Representatives in Abeokuta North, Odeda and Obafemi Owode Federal Constituency on the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) Hon. Engr Taiwo Oludotun popularly known as TWINNY has said the reason he joined the speakership race was to offer effective and efficient representation by bringing the dividends of democracy to his constituents.

The aspirant also promised to address the lingering problem of poverty, unemployment and educational backwardness of his people if elected as the representative of his constituents.

Oludotun revealed this while visiting the leaders and members of the APC in Odeda local government Secretariat.

He said "I am here at the Odeda party Secretariat of APC to officially inform the leadership of the local government and to officially declare interest to contest for the position of House of Representatives in Abeokuta North, Odeda and Obafemi Owode Federal Constituency and to seek for their support towards ensuring that he win the coming election.

Oludotun who visited the party secretariat with a mammoth crowd of supporters said it is high time the constituency injects a fresh blood and fresh ideas that people can benefited from.

While answering questions about having constituency office, his plans for women and youths, he promised to provide good and vibrant representation to his constituents, through regular consultations with them and to utilise his experience in government to attract projects that will be beneficial to people.

He said, he will ensured that people don't only get empowerment through vocational training but they will also be provided with equipments adding that employment opportunities will aso be provided for the good people of his constituents.

The leading aspirant also promised to have constituency offices in all the local government he will be representing through which their constituents can have access to his representative if elected.

The leadership of the APC Odeda local government while responding prayed for Oludotun's 2023 ambition saying that with all what he said, they will give him maximum support he needed.

While requesting, they pointed out three major challenges which included fan, generator and plastic chairs which Engr Oludotun instantly promised to provide them two new fans and to be delivered before the day runs out.

In attendance included the APC party, Chairman, Odeda local government Hon. O. Saka, Vice Chairman, Hon. Mesoye Olubunmi, Secretary, Alhaji Oguntola Mufutau, all the party wards chairmen among others.
