One of the leader in the community, Prince Timothy Akindele listed the installation of solar powered light, grading of roads and skill acquisition programmes for people in ward 16 amongst others during Niyas 2021 councillorship campaign and after, as some of his achievements in Abeokuta North local government.

He explained that Niyas who has not tasted any political position was owing to his track records and as a philanthropist who has positively touched the lives many less privileged persons.

While reacting to the purported impeachment of Oke-Ogun Community Leader, captain Samuel Gboyega said there was nothing of such adding that Chief Hamed Taiwo remains the leader of Oke-Ogun Community.

He added that the Imposition of the consultant to the Ogun State Governor Prince Dapo on media, Prince Ifekayode Akinbode as the new Chairman was nothing but to cause disunity in the community.

The community therefore endorsed Niyas as there preferred house of Assembly candidate come 2023 general elections.
