Ogun Reps Hopeful, Akamo Calls For Youths Involvement in 2023 Elections


An aspirant of the All Progressives Congress APC, contesting for Federal House of Representatives, Abeokuta South Federal Constituency, Hon. Sunday Akamo SA, has called on all youths to participate fully in the 2023, general elections.

According to the aspirant, youths in our society ignore voting for the older generations who are easily manipulated.

Hon. Sunday Akamo made this known in a statement through his Media Team, ahead of the party primaries and 2023 general elections.

Sighting a quote by the first black President of America, Barrack Obama, which says, “You wouldn’t let your grandparents pick your playlists, why would you let them pick your representative who is going to determine your future?”

He noted that, Nigerian youths do a lot of disservice to themselves when they do not vote or when they vote wrongly.

In his words, “I am a youth myself, I have come out to contest as an example for other youths. If you are not contesting for any position, you should exercise your right by casting your votes for a credible candidate”.

“Such Candidate should be held responsible when he fails in his electoral promises to you.”

He assures of an excellent representation when elected as the Hon. Member representing Abeokuta South Federal Constituency, come 2023.
