Warning letter found near Slained Anambra Lawmaker

The head of Okechukwu Okoye, lawmaker representing Aguata State Constituency 1 in the Anambra House of Assembly, has been spotted in Nnobi, Idemili South Local Government Area (LGA) of the state.

In a video made available to URBANTRENDIES Okoye’s head is seen placed on a road as motorists pass by.

The rest of his body is not visible in the two-minute clip.

Okoye and one other person were abducted on Sunday, May 15, at Aguata. His Toyota Sienna car was abandoned at the scene.

He hailed from the same constituency as Charles Soludo, the state governor.

The discovery of his head was accompanied by two warning messages signed by ‘Unknown Gunmen’.

One of the messages read, “We give the politicians 48 hours to withdraw all the soldiers in Biafra land or face our wrath or consequences [sic]. Signed, Unknown Gunmen.”
