HON. ADEGBESAN ASSURES OF DEV'T, LEGISLATIVE REBIRTH IN IJEBU NORTH/IJEBU EAST/OGUN WATERSIDE FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY

The All Progressive Congress (APC) candidate in Ijebu North/Ijebu East and Ogun Waterside Federal Constituency, Hon. Joseph Adegbesan has assured residents in the Constituency of the immediate implementation of his blueprint geared towards ensuring improved representation that would attract all-round development and economic prosperity.
Adegbesan disclosed this during an interview at his Country home in Ago-Iwoye on the sideline of his emergence as the party flag bearer for the Constituency in the just concluded party primary election.

The former State lawmaker expressed gratitude to the delegates, apex political leaders and party chieftains for the trust reposed in him to have secured 75 votes during the primary elections, adding that the result was a true reflection of the democratic understanding of all categories of the progressives across the 32 wards of the three local Government Areas.

Giving an insight into his legislative blueprint which was prepared by a team of apolitical community leaders bearing in mind the strength and needs of residents, Adegbesan assured that he would hit the ground running with community-oriented projects that would be of benefits to the grassroot in addition to youth and women empowerment programmes immediately on his inauguration at the Green Chambers of the National Assembly.

"We can not afford to disappoint our enlightened Constituents who are full of high expectations from their representatives. On my part, I have resolved to hold regular interaction with traditional rulers, especially the Olorituns, stakeholders in community development with facilitation of employment for the teeming youth.

Ours will be an accessible Constituency office open to all, in addition to the holding of annual Constituency town hall meeting to give proper account of our activities to the people. I will equally ensure the seamless facilitation of Federal government funded projects constituents, while lobbying more state projects, especially road projects".

He added that, "our track records are there to speak about our efforts in the previous offices held, I have gotten cross-political knowledge to have maintained close relationship with the grassroot for almost two decades as a community Man, so reaching out to people across the length and breadth of this Constituency has been effectively planned"

Commending the team spirit and understanding of his co-contestants whom they sort for the party ticket together, the House of Representative hopeful therefore solicited for their support towards canvassing for vote enmasse for the party across all elective positions in the three local Government Areas.
