Huge Boost For OGD As Group Back Senatorial Ambition

A pressure group under the aegis of OGD Explorers has urged the people of Ogun East senatorial district to ensure the ambition of the former Governor of Ogun state, Otunba Gbenga Daniel comes to fruition in 2023.

The group whose membership were drawn from the nine local governments in Ijebu and Remoland said the remarkable legacies of Daniel during his eight years tenure in Ogun state needs to be rekindled for the betterment of the entire citizenry.

Speaking through the Chairman of the group, Mr Deji Lamina on Saturday, the group said its choice is Otunba Gbenga Daniel, the Senatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC),noting that following his track records, the people of Ogun East senatorial district are certain that there would be tremendous improvement in the area as well as infrasctructural development.

According to him, “OGD Explorers as a group intend to show appreciation to Otunba Gbenga Daniel for his human and capital development embarked upon when he was the Governor of the state. Based on this, the group intend to actualise OGD’s Ogun East Senatorial ambition.

Moreso, the group believes new blood needs to be injected into country politics. It is our intention to encourage Public/Civil servants and technocrats to participate actively in politics,” Lamina Added.

The group Convener, Mr Tolu Ogunnariwo also lend weight to the call for total support for OGD’s senatorial ambition ahead of the 2023 general elections.
