The involvement of this Students in the incidence can be blamed on the lingering industrial action between the Federal government and ASUU. Majority of our members that were affected are supposed to be at their various citadel of learning but were brought home due to the closure of University ochestrated by the ongoing ASUU strike.

We use this medium to appeal to the Federal government and ASUU to call off the 4 months strike and come up with a lasting solution to the industrial action, as it has always been Nigerian Students bearing the brunt of their actions which has affected us in numerous ways which include the recent massacre.

He also encouraged all state governor's, and security agents in various states to ensure the entry and exit borders to their respective states are provided with the neccesary security apparatus to ensure the security of lives and properties people in their state, as this is part of their constitutional responsibility - Ekundina concluded.
