2023: Tinubu Presidential Race, Abiodun Second Term Will Be A Blessing To Farmers, Hon. Adelaja-Kuye Assures

The Senior Special Assistant to Ogun state governor on Agriculture, Hon. Dr. Angel Adelaja-Kuye has described the the presidential and governorship bids of Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the state Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun as a blessing to Farmers in Ogun State and Nigeria as a whole. 

Adelaja-Kuye stated this in an interview with the newsmen on Tuesday at the Mega walk for Tinubu/Shettima organized by Ogun APC in Abeokuta. 

She noted some of the achievements of gov. Abiodun in Agricultural sector and assure him of support of farmers in coming 2023 general elections. 

She added that, the antecedent of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu when he was the governor of Lagos State, it enough to know that he will improve the agricultural sector. 

She said " Abiodun is the number one Governor when it comes to agriculture. Farmers are so happy his excellency is going for second term, it is undisputed because he has done so much for farmers in agriculture, he has enabled us, he has done several programmes for farmers, he has made sure there is access to finance, access to input, access to market, he has improved agrocommodity sector. Some many companies are happy to be in Ogun State because we have good roads and we have good power and we have gas pipeline.

"There is opportunity in Ogun State, and he has made Ogun state an enabling environment, when it comes to security, when it comes opportunities, when it comes to training and capacity programmes for youths. Our amiable Governor has done it all and he has leveraged the power of collaboration, by collaborating with the federal government, international partners, private sector partners and the farmers themselves.The governor has also done so well for farmers when it comes to budgetary allocations and implementation of the budget. I want to assure our Governor that Ogun state farmers are with him. 

"The strategy that BAT has unveiled for farmers is fantastic! It includes rural electrification, and amenities for rural farmers, infrasturcture like roads, seaports and storage, increased and well coordinated financing, digitalization of government processes for transparency in the implementation of program, making sure we have Agro Cargo airport, promotion of agro export and technology adoption. 

"We are looking up-to Asiwaju Bola Tinubu! What he has been able to do in Agriculture in Lagos, via Epe and Badagry and urban agriculture and processing as well as revenue generation by Lagos Inland revenue service shows his capacity for dynamic solutions. We farmers are happy with his agricultural plan and the inclusion of the agro comodity sub committee in his campaign committee and we are sure he is going to prioritize agriculture. We need some one like him who has the capacity to implement and ready to work with the farmers to feed the Nation.
