Femi Fani- Kayode Denies Declaring Support For Pres. Buhari

A previous Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode has denied reports claiming he dumped the Peoples Democratic Get-together (PDP) and pronounced support for President Muhammadu Buhari.

The PDP chieftain was responding to hypotheses making the rounds that he dumped support for the presidential competitor of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar following the arrival of Zainab Aliyu, the Nigerian understudy kept in Saudi Arabia for supposed medication dealing.

Fani-Kayode said he was just 'pleased with Buhari' for the convenient arrival of the Nigerian understudy.

Reacting on his Twitter page on Friday, Fani-Kayode described the reports as ‘false’.

He tweeted,

“Reports that I said I am “proud of Buhari” and that I have “dumped PDP” and “joined APC” is false.
“Those that are peddling such vile mendacities and perfidious falsehood are insane.
“I commended Buhari for getting the young lady in Saudi Arabia out of prison but it stops there.”
