Business moguls, Aliko Dangote, and Femi Otedola have made a promise to the Super Eagles as Niger progresses in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON.

The billionaires said they will donate $50,000 and $25,000 respectively for each goal scored in their semi-final game against Algeria.

The Super Eagles will battle the North Africans for a place in the final on Sunday at the Cairo International Stadium.

They defeated South Africa 2-1 in the quarter-final on Wednesday.

Osasu Obayiuwana disclosed the cash rain promise on Twitter, with a video of President of the Nigerian Football Federation, NFF, Amaju Pinnick, announcing the gesture at the team’s base in Cairo on Thursday.

The member of the NFF Reform Committee tweeted:
“Africa’s richest businessman, @AlikoDangote promises the @NGSuperEagles $50k for every goal they score in the #AFCON2019semi-final. @realFemiOtedola will pay $25k per goal.”
