COVID-19: KONYMANDIBIO  REACHES OUT TO 100 WIDOWS AND ELDERLY WOMEN

Not less than one hundred widows and elderly women were beneficiaries of the latest move of Konymandibio Charity Foundation's quest to bring happiness to every home when food items were distributed to the women in a bid to ease the hunger that the Covid-19 compulsory stay-at-home order has brought to the society.

The women who converged at Amao College, Akingbile in Akinyele Local Government Area of Oyo State were given packages containing rice, beans, garri and fufu powder on Saturday morning in an attempt to help them observe the Easter festivities with happiness.

The vice chairman of the foundation, Mrs. Adenike Bolarinwa took the opportunity to the sensitize the beneficiaries on the Covid-19 pandemic and how to prevent its spread. She encouraged them to adhere to all precautionary measures given by the NCDC, such as regular hand washing, social distancing, etc.

While speaking with news men after the event, the Chairman of the foundation, Mr. Abiola Ogungbade said Konymandibio has picked up on the Project Happiness which was embarked on last year and many more people will still be beneficiaries of the project as the year runs on. He however uses the medium to enjoin the public to buy into the initiative and take advantage of this season of love to reach out to the needy.
