A Young Philanthropist, Fabregas Urges Muslim faithfuls To Continue To Imbibe The Lessons Ramadan Thought


A young philanthropist and successful entrepreneur in Sagamu local government, Ogun State - Asiwaju Ayorinde Babatunde popularly and politically known as (Fabregas) has sent a message to Muslims in Ogun State and the country at large, urging them to remain steadfast and prayerful in the face of the troubling disease, COVID-19 amidst other daunting challenges. 

  Fabregas, in a statement signed by his media team, enjoined Muslims in the country to sustain the values and virtues which the holy month of Ramadan taught them in their day-to-day relationship with God and fellow human beings. He noted that the present challenges are surmountable "if we all realign our character and deeds in tune with the wishes of Allah". 

  Asiwaju emphasized that the task of regaining the lost glory of our dear nation is owed to upholding the virtues of good neighborliness and eschew intolerance of other people's opinion, corruption, abuse of power, disregard for due process and disobedience to the laws of the land. 

 The statement reads further, "I urge our Muslim brothers and sisters to remain steadfast, prayerful and patriotic. The virtues of moderation, piety, regular supplication to Allah and being our brother's keeper should subsist beyond the Ramadan period. Beyond this, everyone should seek to relink themselves to the path of the Almighty Allah (SWT) with renewed vigor. 

  Finally, he called on Nigeria's across religious divide to be prayerful for the country as it battles for survival against the COVID-19 pandemic. 

 "We all are aware of the coronavirus pandemic presently waging war against the while world, Nigeria inclusive. It's effect on us a people and even on the economy can not be overemphasized. I believe if we lend out our voice in fervent prayers to God, He will definitely come to our aid before the disease causes irreparable damage. 

" Also, we should pay strict adherence to the safety guidelines against COVID-19 in order to curtail its spread. I pray that May Allah accept our supplication, good deeds as an act of Ibadah and grant us the grave to witness many more Eid Fitr", he concluded.
