How UEFA meeting will decide Chelsea Champions League plan and Timo Werner, Hakim Ziyech debuts

Tomorrow's UEFA meeting will have a clear impact on Chelsea as the plan to conclude this season's Champions League is expected to take shape on top of a shock, if minor, possibility that Timo Werner could play for the club earlier than expected.
Frank Lampard's team trail Bayern Munich 3-0 following the first leg of their round of 16 tie.
The governing body is expected to confirm plans to hold the final stages of the competition in one city, likely Lisbon, in a truncated spell in mid-August when domestic leagues have finished.
But there is an expectation that the outstanding round of 16 games will be allowed to take place at their originally scheduled venues, meaning Chelsea would still need to travel to Bavaria to complete their tie.
There is a small chance that Werner and Hakim Ziyech, who Chelsea have already signed from Ajax, would be allowed to play with player registrations also up for discussion during the meeting.
However, the likelihood is that will not be allowed to happen as there is an awareness that such a move could set a precedent that will be open to exploitation in the future
Werner, the £53million attacker who has verbally agreed to join Chelsea, has indicated that he does not want to be part of RB Leipzig's squad for their quarter-final with his move to Stamford Bridge set to be completed.
