NCWS Pledges To Lay Lock Up Shops Foundation In Ogun

National Council For Women's Society (NCWS) Nigeria has pledged to lay lock up shops foundation at Irolu Remo area of Ogun State soon.
This was disclosed on Wednesday during an interview with the Ogun State President of the Council, Olori Bola Adeyiga.
Adeyiga hinted that the program will take place at the site situated along Ilishan, Irolu, Ago-Iwoye road, on 21st of December 2020.
She explained that the purpose of the program is to support the government in power which the wife of the state Governor, Mrs Bamidele Abiodun that happens to be the patron of NCWS the state chapter and to support the agenda of the National President of the Council, Chief Mrs Gloria Laraba Shoda.
Adeyiga hinted that the project targeted farmers, especially female farmers in the state where they can bring their farm produce to the open stalls to sell.
According to her "The purpose of the project is to enable female farmers to keep their farm produce in order not to be hijacked cheaply while coming from the farm.
"This project will go along way as parts of out efforts to support the government under the leadership of Prince Dapo Abiodun, it's a way of showing that we have mother who cares about women and I believe we can grow economically through agriculture"
"We are doing all these to encourage women who are involved in farming or any agricultural produce in making their farm produce easier for sale in market, she concluded".
She also revealed that NCWS would be organising Ogun Food Fair 2021 soon, seeking for support, partnership and participation.
