One Year Anniversary: Ogun Monarch Lauds Akarigbo Over Development Of Orile- Oko Community

The Adele Oloko of  Orile Oko, high  Chief Olakunle Olalekan Joseph yesterday celebrated his first year anniversary on  throne with joy and excitement

Many people were so elated at  his palace to celebrate one year coronation anniversary with him.

Orile -Oko is under Remo North Local government area of Ogun State.

Adele Oloko of  Orile- Oko, on December 5, last year, received his staff of office from the Akarigbo of Remo land His Royal Majesty Oba Babatunde Ajayi. 

Speaking at the one year anniversary, the Adele Orile Oko, Chief Olakunle Olalekan  Joseph thanked the Almighty God for witnessing his one year  in good health and happiness.

Chief Olalekan also commended Akarigbo for the development of the community.

On the development of the town, he explained that the the state government has done beyond reasonable doubt In development of Orile -Oko.

He  added  that the state Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun has just  recently  approved the construction of Orile -Oko road of which they have been agitating for the past 50years.

In his  words "I want to give thanks to Almighty God , and also  I want to give give praises to the Akarigbo Of Remo Land and the Paramount Ruler of Remo land Papa Ajayi for his support and advice.  I have to say big thanks to him." 

"Here we are in Orile Oko, this is  purely rural,  with the help of Almighty God and the help of Akarigbo,  I will be able to say some things.  Let me say in 2016, we have the privilege to be given a transformer from the Presidency, Abuja as a senatorial gift through the late Hon. Buruji Kashamu, but I thank God through the Akarigbo of Remo land and Almighty God,  we are able to get the transformer back to Orile oko. 

Since 2016, Just a month ago,  we just received the transformer."

"The State Governort Prince Dapo Abiodun, has done beyond reasonable doubt In Orile -Oko. He just approved the construction of Orile -Oko road and we have been agitating for it 50years ago. We thank God that our amiable Governor Dapo Abiodun for listening to Orile -Oko,  and Approve the construction of Orile -Oko road." 

He therefore charged the people of Orile-Oko to continue to support the development of the town adding that they are still  expecting a lot  😬 from the State Government.

Earlier in his address, the Alatoba of Atoba land, Chief Olaiwola Ogundare explained that everyone love Chief Olakunle because he has performed perfectly for the past one year as the Adele Orile Oko.

The Baale of Sotayo Village also praised Adele Orile Oko for the way he has helped in the development of the community.

According to him "The Adele has been fighting for the development of this area and I wish him good luck."

"The State government should focus on this community in term of development , our road is very bad, the government should help Orile oko because the community is good in Agriculture. We appealed to the state government to focus more on this township. he concluded.
