Govs to meet NNPC over oil revenue Wednesday

 Members of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF) are to meet with the management of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) on issues relating to the handling of the nation’s oil earnings.

A statement on Tuesday by the secretariat of the NGF said the forum’s 25th teleconference meeting scheduled for February 10, 2021, would be devoted to the NNPC team.

Part of the statement reads: “The meeting according to the Director-General of the NGF, Asishana Okauru, is a single topic agenda where the NNPC would make a presentation on what states should know about NNPC audited reports.”

DG of NGF, advises governors to join on Wednesday, Feb 10th by 2 pm.”

The meeting, according to the statement, would also be attended by a team from the United Kingdom’s Department for International Development (DFID).
