Don't Attend Illegal Meetings, Ogun IPAC Warns Members


The Inter Party Advisory Council, (IPAC) Ogun State chapter has sent a note of warning to it's members from attending a meeting called by a faction of the group saying that such gathering is illegal.


Ogun IPAC, under the leadership of Comrade Gentleman ARABAMBI Oluwafemi Abayomi explained that only meeting called by their chairman (Arabambi) is authentic and valid.


This was disclosed in a press statement made available to journalists in Abeokuta the state capital by the IPAC, Public Relations Officer Prince Adeyinka Adeyemi.

Adeyemi hinted that the Arabambi led Ipac distanced itself from the said meeting scheduled to hold at an hotel in Quarry road, Abeokuta.


The IPAC PRO, who is also the State Chairman of ASD stated in the release that "It has come to our notice that a group of dissidents Political parties Chairmen has called a meeting for Thursday at  quarry imperial hotel for 2 pm calling on all party Chairmen to attend

"Please disregard such meeting as they lack constitutional right to invite any party Chairmen."


"The only authentic IPAC Executive is led by Comrade Gentleman ARABAMBI ABAYOMI as Chairman and Comrade Abayomi Sanyaolu as state secretary who are the leaders of the 83  Political parties".



"Only meetings called by the above leadership is valid 

All 83 Political parties Chairmen are enjoined to disregard such notice as such group are not known to Law".


"All Chairmen of Political parties is hereby notify that the appeal court Judgement delivered by the president of the court of appeal and four others is a declaratory judgement that can only be appeal against but no stay of execution can be filled against it. 
Comrade Gentleman ARABAMBI ABAYOMI advises the dissidents IPAC members to await the decisions of the supreme court since INEC has appeal the judgement and an appeal do not operate as a stay 

"In effect our Executive remains sacrosanct untill the final decision from the supreme court is made from the appeal filled by INEC".
