SDG 2- Zero to Hunger: P4L Group feeds 100 Persons in Lagos


Determined to coushion the effects of the lockdown occasioned by the Coronavirus pandemic as well as alleviate poverty from the society, a group, Passion for Love ( P4L) has  has distributed cooked foods to 100 persons in Lagos State.

The event which was part of activities to mark the group's 1st anniversary took place at Okobaba Street, Ebute Meta area of the State.

Speaking to newsmen after distribution of the foods to the beneficiaries, the Executive Director of the group, Sharon Dike said the group was only carrying out part of its corporate social responsibilities.

She explained that the exercise was in fulfilment of the Sustainable Development Goals 2 (Zero to Hunger), stressing that they will continue to assist the downtrodden.

Sharon who spoke alongside Anniversary Committee Lead, JCI Sen. Henry Adedokun and others, said they are preaching what the group stand for which reflects in its slogan "Love is Friendship" by extending their affection to the people at the streets. 

Her words "It is necessary at this time, to give back to the society in our own little way, we believe that today, we have affected the lives of some people. We are also preaching what we stand for which Love is Friendship".


" Also, the free distribution of cooked foods to 100 persons is in line with Sustainable Development Goals 2 Zero to Hunger of the United Nations. We will continue to support people of our society".
