Youth Recognises IWA With National Leadership Award

Ogun Youth Advocate For Social Development (OGYASD) has honoured Hon. Igbalaye Wasiu popularly known as "IWA" with the National Outstanding Leadership Award.

Igbalaye, a popular philanthropist and one time candidate for the House of Assembly in Ogun State received the honoured today at his house in Abeokuta the Ogun State capital in attendance with friends and family.

The award was described as a recognition of his personate professional capabilities, charismatic leadership acumen, achievement in economy building, various Youth empowerment programs and selfless service to humanity in Ogun State and Nigeria at large.

Addressing Journalists, Igbalaye thanked the Almighty God for giving him the grace to witness the day saying that he was very happy to receive the award from the youths.

He said it's no more a news that he has been extending hands of generosity to the people because it was the promised he had with God that once he have capacity to give back to the community, he will not hesitate to do that because when he was still young he do beg people for help and they are not ready to help.

Igbalaye equally admonished people to continue to give their quota back to the people saying that it's not until they have much.

According to him "It's not necessary until you have much money or resources before you can give out, at least you can give the little from what you have and expect good in return. 

He said he don't limit his kind gestures and scholarship program to Ogun State only but he has able to do it in some other states and people are still benefiting from it till now.

Igbalaye therefore appealed to the government across level to continue to do their best in elevating the suffering that bedeviling the country.

While addressing the Journalists, OGYASD President, Comrade Oluseyi Alamu disclosed that the award was based on his contributions towards youths developmental projects and his great achievements so far within the community.
