Nigeria@61: ROMO Chairman, Solebo Assures Safety In Transport Sector





As part of efforts to ensure reduction in the prevailing security and safety challenges in the Ogun state transport sector, the State Chairman of Riders And Owner Motorcycle Organization (ROMO) has promised to support the  State Government in fighting the menace among the motorcyclist ridder's in the state.

Comrade Razaq Sotayo popularly called Solebo stated this during the celebration of 61st independent day in Nigeria. Held MKO Abiola stadium Kiti, Abeokuta.

Comrade Sotayo explained that we have all reason for this celebration despite the challenges facing our nation. Nigerian as a country celebrates the 60th Anniversary in 2020 during Covid-19 pandemic, End SARS issues, Boko Haram, Kidnapping and banditary. Yet we are still alive to witness to day.

He said, with the support of Ogun State Government through the ministry of transport we have come up with a solution to the menace.

It's a must for any okada rider in the state to have   Riders dentification card (ID card), as a means of identification and recognition.

Any rider that failed to wear riders jacket and I'd card will be dealt with.

While using the medium to warn the general publics not to ride on any motorcycle that doesn't have any means of identification.

He congratulate President Muhammad Buhari, Governor Dapo Abiodun and other states governor wishes them happy democracy day celebrations.
