Hon. Ogunola Set to empower 224 people in Ado-Odo Ota




Hon. Babatunde Ogunola, popularly known as Tomo is set to empower 224 people from Ado-Odo Ota local government area of Ogun state.

Hon. Okunola was a former member of house of representatives in the 8th National Assembly.

The beneficiaries which comprises of youths and the aged are drawn from the 116 wards.
Ogunola disclosed this to journalists today in Ota, Ogun state.

Okunola explained that, the empowerment programme is aimed at alleviating poverty in the society.

Ogunola said, he would be distributing working tools to artisans while equipment like grinding machines, freezers among others would be distributed to women.

He further explained that, he be giving grants to youths abs women to support their small scale businesses.

Ogunola said, "I' m ready to empower 224 people, from Ado-Odo Ota local government area of Ogun state.

"Sixteen people will be selected from each ward in Ado-Odo Ota. The idea behind the empowerment is to free my people from hunger and to also support their small businesses.
