Read Laudable Achievements Executed By Obafemi Owode LG Chairman Within 100 Days In Office

It has been kudos galore for the Obafemi Owode local government Chairman, Hon. Ogunsola Adesina in the past 100 days in office.

The praises have been coming from the good people of the local government on the policies of the administration under the leadership of Hon. Ogunsola Adesina that have brought a fresh breath of hope since he assumed the office under the ruling APC.

Just yesterday, the Chairman of Obafemi Owode Local Government, Hon. Ogunsola Adesina marked 100 days in office with a lot of laudable and commendable achievements.

In a media parley with journalists shortly after the celebration to marked the 100 days in office, Hon. Ogunsola hinted that within the space of days he spent in office he has been able to execute 24 projects promising that more are still coming to the good people of the local government.

Hon. Ogunsola explained that the celebration is not only for fun fare, but a platform for him to x-ray his stewardship in office for the past 100 days, adding that his administration have made accountability, transparency, diligence and probity his watchword saying that this has greatly enhanced his performance in delivering dividends of democracy.

The local government Chairman also commended the officers working with him saying that they are well trained, disciplined and experienced career officers which were able to accomplish the little achievement within 100 days.

Hon. Ogunsola who equally commended the State Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun for his foresight and purposeful leadership maintained that the level of infrastructural development we are enjoying in the state is unprecedented and this is quite appreciated.

His words ''At this junction, it's noteworthy to say that all these achievements were recorded within just 100 days. We would have loved to do more if not for the various challenges and paucity of funds in the Local Government at present.''

"Nevertheless, we will not relent on our efforts in ensuring that we continue to exploit all avenues within our power to improve on the internally generated revenue and also to make prudent use of the limited resources available to the local government.

"By doing this, we will be able to compliment the vigorous efforts of the state Governor in the provision of more dividends of democracy to our teeming populace through the Building Future Together agenda as summed up in the ISEYA acronyms thus" Hon. Ogunsola concluded

(1) Proposed and unveiling of ultra modern trailer park, Degbe, Alapako

(2) Extensive Renovation and kerurbishment of Chairman and Vice Chairman's

Office.

(8) Ongoing Constitution of Uitra Modern Shopping Complex at Magboro

(4) Complete overhauling of Komatsu Engine and purchasing of Six new Tires

(5) Grading of road verges sSIun-Owode Road.

(6) Extensive Rehabilitation and refurbishment of Obafemi/Owode

Legislative Chamber.

() Extensive Renovation and Refurbishment of Head of Local Government

Administration and Secretary to the Local Government's Ofrice.

(8) Renovation of Ajura Health Centre

(9) Renovation of Water Supply and Environmental Sanitation Blocks.

(10) Renovation of Information, Education and Sports Blocks.

(11) Ongoing Reconstruction and Modernization of Obafemi/Owode Viewing Centre.

(12) Renovation of Community and Social Development BloCKS.

(13) Renovation of Agriculture and Natural Resources Blocks.

(14) Distribution of Writing Materials to Pupils in Methodist Primary School, Oyero Kajola.

(15) Distribution of writing materials to pupils in Anglican Church Primary School
