In his efforts at improving the standard of the hospital and enhance healthcare delivery system, Hon. Wahab Abiodun Egungbohun on Monday donated hospital beds to all the primary health centers in his constituents.

Egungbohun, representing Yewa North (II) in Ogun State House of Assembly said the donation was borne out of his earlier visits to the clinics and find out that they lack adequate number of beds for effective service delivery.

The Primary health centers included Ebute, Apetu, Owode Balogun, Ohunbe, Agbon Ojodu, Eggua, Igan Alade, Tata, Ijale Ketu and Ijoun.

Among other things he donated are chairs and Mechanical scale.

The Lawmaker while addressing the Ebute health center management said aside from the bed and chairs donation, he would ensure he changed the look of the clinic in due time.

According to him "You will believe with me that today, I fulfilled the promise made during my visit to this clinic to see things for myself and this is the beginning"

I was not happy with the condition of primary health centers in my constituent and as your representative, it's my duty to do my own quota before we can seek for state government assistance, I have already informed the government about it and I assured you government will do their own part very soon.

"The little I am donating today is to complement government efforts at improving the standard of the hospitals and enhance healthcare delivery system."

Hon. Wahab therefore assured that he would do all he could to ensure that the facility is upgraded to standard for effective service delivery to the people.
